Wall St. Journal Article: How New Technology Helps Patients

A WSJ.com article today offers some great resources for monitoring your health using the latest websites and iPhone apps; it’s called How Life’s Details Help Patients, but its title could have been How New Technology Helps Patients.

Keeping a food or symptom journal is a pain. But being able to do it using your phone makes it less so.

TheCarrot.com seemed to make the most sense for me, so I’m trying it out. So far it’s okay, but not great. It’s very well put-together and the options you can choose make a lot of sense. The bad part is it seems to be still in beta, and so it’s a little wonky. For example, when I tried to input my energy levels for today (low!) it didn’t save, and kept prompting me to enter it again. Edit: this turned out to be user error. Oopsies.

  1. An interesting discussion is worth comment. I believe that you need to write more about this issue, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people do not discuss such subjects. To the next! All the best!!
